Former Viking band members walked out onto the field Friday, Sept. 19 to perform with the marching band during half-time at the Homewood-Flossmoor High School homecoming football game, as part of the 2nd annual HF Band Alumni Reunion.

Seven HF music students and the Viking Jazz Ensemble have been chosen to perform at ILMEA's All State Conference in Jan 2025.

Jarad Higgins — aka Juice WRLD — was a Marching Viking, HF Class of 2017. Jarad's mom founded Homewood Brewing Co. as a tribute to her son.

Twelve HF Band students were selected by audition into the 2024 Illinois Music Education Association (ILMEA) District 1 Senior Festival.
